FELINE FRIDAY! This week we have adorable, adoptable Mander from Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue in McDonald.

Meet Mander aka Commander! She is one of our special needs cats at Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue. She has been with us since January 2018. She was an owner-surrender and we were given very little information about her past other than she had litter box avoidance and a little anxiety.

Over the last few years we have learned a lot about her personality and her health. It has been trial and error and working with our vet to learn what works for her. Early on, we exposed her to different situations and realized that she did best in her own room that we now call “The Extra Love Room”. She has multiple litter boxes, cat tv, and special food. She is on medication to help with anxiety, seizures, and her bowel movements. We have mastered her medication cocktail and have managed to keep all of her conditions under control. Other than her health conditions, she is an amazing cat!

She is everything everyone looks for in a cat. She loves all kinds of humans. She loves to sit in your lap, she loves to be brushed and have her face/ears rubbed, and she absolutely loves to be read aloud to. She is a great conversationalist and she enjoys Disney music…especially if you sing it to her. All she wants in life is a warm lap to lay on and someone to love.

She is around 6 years old. She is looking for a calm, quiet, patient home without other cats or dogs. She will need an extensive adjustment period to settle in. We would love to find her a furever home, but someone who would be opening to foster her is also an option! All supplies, medications, and vet care would be covered by us. It is a lot to ask of someone, but she is 100% worth it.
