FIDO FRIDAY! This week we have adorable, adoptable Emerald from Cross Your Paws Rescue in Irwin!

You can call me Emmy for short! I’m 1 year young! I’m a “mix breed” but you know what that means.. I’m a dash of love, a dash of friendliness, and a little bit of shyness, all “mixed” up in my 44 pounds! My foster mom says I’m doing really really well. I’m friendly and love other dogs. I do think I’m a lap dog and will definitely lay by your side. I can be a bit of a talker, so an apartment wouldn’t be best for me.

I can be shy at first, and I can be protective of my favorite person so someone with love and patience will definitely win my heart. I’d like a home without small kiddos as quick movement can make me nervous. I need a strong owner that I can’t have wrapped completely around my paw... as I will take advantage of that and become head of the house. You know, someone to love me and care for me but not let me get my way TOO much. I’m all around a sweet and loving girl and am loving for my furever family!
