It seems like everyone has just hit a breaking point with the Bcachefs project in the Linux kernel, so much so that Linus Torvalds has gone and marked the project as externally maintained. The problem is that doesn't mean anything, it's not a defined state.

It's going on 5 months since we last heard a peep out of the COSMIC desktop project with alpha 7 being the last tagged release, there was supposed to be a beta and a full release by now, but what happened to that, and is it ever going to come out.

The Arch Wiki is generally regarded as the best distro in the Linux world but it didn't become this out of pure chance, this was due to well curated rules and good maintenance.
