When you acquire your music through various means it's likely that it won't have it's id3 meta data tags set properperly but luckily fixing this is incredibly easy with a tool such as id3. If you don't fix your music tags it becomes much harder to make effective use of the search tools in your music player.

Do you ever forget what your fonts look like, well maybe you need a font previewer such as the aptly named fontpreview. This is a pretty simple shell script which makes use of fzf to select the font, imagemagick to generate a preview of the font and sxiv to actually display the preview itself, the text and preview itself is fully customizable.

Configuring vim can be a fairly large time commitment especially if you want to turn it into a relatively decent programming environment so Vim Bootstrap is a project that aims to take out some of that effort by generating a vimrc or vim configuration file for you with minimal user interaction and besides some odd vim plugin choices I think it's pretty decent.

KDE Connect is one of those applications that seems like a really awesome idea, I'd love to recieve my phone notifications on my desktop and respond to sms without having to touch my phone but in it's current form the implementation is effectively broken due to updates that happen to Android.
