As you know I love messing with terminal apps and I use discord very frequently so what not try to find a 3rd party discord client that manages to be a competent replacement, I've tried out Cordless which is also pretty good but it's got a bit of a funky interface, 6cord however does basically everything I could want it to do.

I've been using vimiwiki to do all of my note taking for quite a while now and I recently did a video on a scehduling app but it didn't click with me until someone mentioned in the comments section that Vimwiki has a built in diary feature called Vimwiki Diary, it doesn't require any extra plugins it just works out of the box.

I've been messing around with a lot of git interfaces and one of frequent complaints is that they're missing some fundamental feature, not anymore tig not oly allows you to run arbitrary commands from the app allowign you to run whatever git commands you could possibly want but you can also bind them to keybindings in the application. If I wanted a git interface this might be best best option to choose.

Maybe you don't just want to use a regular file maybe you want a special editor just for doing your schedule and that's where something like Tibivi could potentially be useful, this tool is a vim inspired weekly scheduling app which while being incredibly simple does most of what I could possibly want from a scheduling app.

I was getting bored of just seeing a black screen every time I boot into my system so I decided to take a look into graphically configuring grub to see what it's capable of doing and you know what, you can actually make GRUB look surprisingly good, especially if you apply a grub theme. Even though depending on the hardware you run, the day of the week and the rotation of the solar system some of the settings like GRUB_BACKGROUND may not actually work properly
