Church communities today are in a time of transition. We walk a narrow path—between the deadly danger of letting the world seep into the church, and the equally destructive pull of religious externalism that births Ishmaels instead of sons of the promise.

As we allow God to peel back the veil of self-protection from our hearts, the light of love for our brothers and sisters can guide us—helping us avoid these pitfalls and walk faithfully on the narrow highway of holiness.
