This shared life cleanses, humbles, and unites us, renewing our covenant of oneness in Him and with one another.

God commands His people to make an exodus. Like Nehemiah, the church today is called to leave Babylon and rebuild the culture and soil of His Kingdom. We must refuse to depend on our enemies for the essentials of life; instead, we must work in unity to bring every constituent part under the headship of Christ. We must also submit to the rigor of sectionals—the focused practice of our individual orchestra parts—so that together we can play the whole, synchronized symphony.

Because God wants to build His kingdom through His people, He gives us grace. Rather than a cheap, watered-down excuse to follow the dictates of our flesh, grace is the way God involves Himself in human affairs, empowering us to do His will. 

We each have a small, essential piece of grace that God would build into the mosaic of His temple. The whole world—and the Jewish people —will see the unity of that many-faceted temple and recognize that God dwells in His people.

The psalmist says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Believers often struggle with condemnation, even to the point of despair. Although it is ludicrous, we choose to listen to the lies of the enemy, whose name is “the Accuser.” His words resonate with our desperately deceitful hearts. But God is greater than our hearts. We don’t have to live under the verdict of sin: we can shift our focus to the God whose mercy endures forever.

God’s people are at war! We cannot be ignorant of our arch-enemy’s schemes. His temptations and reasoning resonate with our carnal minds. Because Satan knows of the power of unity, he attempts to splinter and fracture us. But the spiritual weapons of our warfare are mighty, and God has given us effective strategy. We must perceive, prepare, perform, and persevere—until the final victory is won.

What fruit can we show to those who rage against God and oppose His people? God has worked many notable miracles among us, and we believe we will see even more. Although Satan can produce lying wonders, his power cannot counterfeit character, joy in suffering, lasting relationships, or victory over the fear of death. The greatest miracle—the fruit that cannot be feigned—is that God transforms human hearts as we turn toward Him with humility, vulnerability, and faith.

Truth does not rest on human objectivity but on the unshakable foundation of God’s Word. Those who reject a love for the truth will fall under strong delusion, trading the power of truth for the power of coercion. Enemies of truth aim to dismantle a people rooted in faith and in God’s reality. The assassination of Charlie Kirk sought to silence an unapologetically Christian voice, yet his legacy endures as one who courageously stood for his faith. In the end, the question remains: will truth reveal its ultimate supremacy, or will hate and lies prevail?

Our mission is to be an intentional culture that encompasses the totality of life. But our church continues to grow and change. We are correcting an imbalanced model of discipleship that produced Ishmaels, sons of the flesh. Although we recognize our mistakes, we also acknowledge the fruit—faith, joy, flourishing, lives transformed by the love of God—that has marked our 52 years of history. Until the Lord returns, we will keep correcting, keep growing, keep forgiving, and keep telling the truth in love.

We all have a God-given need to control, but our dominion should be an expression of our submission to God’s greater design. Often our greatest need is to recognize what  is, and what is not, under our control. We cannot control a fallen world or the choices of others, but we can allow the Spirit to control our responses to the vicissitudes of life.

Peace is not the product of strength, but the fruit of trust in the One who triumphed over all—even death—on the cross.

Scripture teaches that “the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” Our faith can be rooted only in the goodness of God, and we love others in recognition of the debt we owe because God first loved us. Love’s greatest enemies are hatred, fear, and pride. Some see a dichotomy between grace and works, or achievement. But true grace—a gift—works through love.
