We all have a God-given need to control, but our dominion should be an expression of our submission to God’s greater design. Often our greatest need is to recognize what  is, and what is not, under our control. We cannot control a fallen world or the choices of others, but we can allow the Spirit to control our responses to the vicissitudes of life.

Peace is not the product of strength, but the fruit of trust in the One who triumphed over all—even death—on the cross.
