  • Jesus clears the Temple

Today's episode of LunchTime Word is coming from the book of John 2: 13-25. Here we read that Jesus clears the temple of money changers, overturns tables and drives out the animals from the temple. The Jews asked "What sign is this for you to do what you do? Jesus replies, "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up". But the people did not understand that we was not talking about the physical building but his body. Jesus Christ was crucified and rose on the third day from the grave. The stone was rolled away and we know that he is seated at the right hand of the Father (ABBA). In your spare time of study be sure to read John 2 in it's entirety, because the Word of God is food for our spirit man. The word heals, reveals, corrects, rebukes, refines and defines us to be more like Jesus and less like us!

  • Walk by Faith and not by sight!

Broken Vessels host Latoya Washington with special guest Delphine Kirkland. Delphine is is an evangelist, worship leader, Christian speaker, entrepreneur, blogger, vlogger and author. She served in the Women’s Jail Ministry for over 25 years. She is also the founder of Daphne Paige Ministries, in which she named after her mother to honor her memory. Growing up in a God-loving home where prayers were lifted up and the Word of God was taught, she learned to trust God with all her heart. She writes to inspire women who are struggling on their faith journey. No one should walk alone. And though many believe they have to struggle through life, she knows God is able to see them through the struggles.   Delphine books reflect the power that comes from trusting in the Lord. In “Just Jesus and Me: A Three-Year Journey to Divine Healing and Salvation,” she trusted God to heal her body of a contagious skin disease when others around her doubted her stance. “Hiding God’s Word in My Heart” exposes the raw honestly of trusting in the Word in the raw season of pandemic uncertainty. Whether teaching, writing or preaching God’s Word, her goal is to continue encouraging people to trust the Lord.

  • Are you carnal?

This episode of LunchTime word is a delicious meal that leaves listeners with a question. Are you carnal? In the book of 1st Corinthians 3: 1-17, Apostle Paul corrects the Corinthian church because of the reports of envy, strife and division within the church. Some were stating "I am of Paul and "I am of Apollos! Paul addressed the issue by revealing the root of this was immaturity and carnality within the church. Where you find envy, strife and division, there you will find carnality. Once we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are new creatures. We need the infilling and indwelling of the Holy Spirit to follow the standards of God. We should no longer operate as the world but this scripture reveals the immaturity in some of the believers. Are you carnal is a question we should ourselves each day. As the world grows more wicked let us decide to be less like the world and more like Jesus Christ!

  • Are you a sheep or a goat?

This episode of LunchTime word is about the "Final Judgement" in Matthew 25:31-46. Jesus reveals to disciples about the Final judgement. He discusses the separation of sheep and goat. This scripture left me speechless because it caused me to reflect on my daily life. To ensure that we do even for the least of these. Be sure to meditate on today's scripture and ponder on whether you are a sheep or a goat.
