Broncos Country BLITZ!!!

Now is training camp really over with Sean Payton as your head coach, likely not. As it officially wraps up though, the offense has begun to click and hit it's stride. That along with a solid defense, the only worry might come back to special teams again, if even in the short term.

The Denver Broncos took the field in their first preseason game of 2023 and the first game as Broncos Head Coach for Sean Payton. The result was a hard fought game, with quite a few things to clean up as we move towards the regular season. The most glaring issues being the offensive line and place kicking game. QB Russell Wilson looked more like his old self, while the defense may have found a couple other playmakers for a questionable defensive line.

Other observations from Denver Broncos Training Camp 2023, including how strong the defense appears. They won’t just be making it tuff on our offense this season, guaranteed as long as everybody stays healthy. Also, congrats to DeMarcus Ware on your official induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame! We will be back with you for another podcast after the Broncos Preseason Opener in Arizona. #unitedinorange #broncos #broncoscountry #nfl #cromwellsports #podcast #broncoscountryblitz

The Broncos had an eventful first week of training camp. Head Coach Sean Payton had some comments about last year’s situation with Nathaniel Hackett and the only issue I had with it, is that Payton walked his comments back the next day. Also, you have to feel for WR Tim Patrick who is out again with an ACL Tear. #unitedinorange #broncos #broncoscountry #nfl #cromwellsports #podcast #broncoscountryblitz

The Denver Broncos opened Training Camp with a whisper compared to last season and Head Coach Sean Payton wouldn’t have it any other way. Coach Payton may be easing into Training Camp on day one, but that’ll change before we know it. Also, some notes on uniforms and CEO/Owner Greg Penner’s expectations. #unitedinorange #broncos #broncoscountry #nfl #cromwellsports #podcast #broncoscountryblitz

I give my thoughts on the Denver Broncos new white alternate (snowcapped) helmet and the team has had their first suspension related to gambling on NFL Games. #unitedinorange #broncos #broncoscountry #nfl #cromwellsports #podcast #broncoscountryblitz

The Denver Broncos continue the offseason work, again showing the refreshing focus led by HC Sean Payton. Also, DC Vance Joseph had an honest reaction to the media about being back home. #unitedinorange #broncos #broncoscountry #nfl #cromwellsports #podcast #broncoscountryblitz

The Denver Broncos said goodbye to the last remaining player from the Super Bowl 50 Squad, by releasing Kicker Brandon McManus. While some were surprised by this move, I for one was really not. Also, the evolution of Thursday Night Football continues to get ugly and our new CEO showed one way he has stripes of a different color then the previous Broncos all-time great owner Pat Bowlen. #unitedinorange #broncos #broncoscountry #nfl #cromwellsports #podcast #broncoscountryblitz #brandonmcmanus

The Broncos traded up in the draft, traded back for a familiar face for Sean Payton, and made sure to stay focused with the limited picks they had in this NFL Draft. The final picks are now complete from the Russell Wilson trade after this draft, so now we'll see how the pieces fall for both the Broncos and Seahawks moving forward. This draft felt like a Sean Payton Draft, scheme, player specific, and ceiling focused. #unitedinorange #broncos #broncoscountry #nfldraft #nfl #cromwellsports #podcast #broncoscountryblitz #nfldraft2023
