LB Cody Barton named AFC Defensive Player of the Week, CB Pat Surtain II is back at practice, and wishing WR Josh Reynolds the best following a serious scare.

The Denver Broncos got a Big Win in the Big Easy for their Head Coach Sean Payton. The defense once again set the tone, while the Broncos Ground Attack took over the game on offense. The Denver Broncos had a game of slow starts, turnovers, and poor execution, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Along with an injury to the team's best player on defense, all these factors became too much to overcome. The team made it interesting in the 4th Quarter, but interesting isn't a win.

The Denver Broncos overcame a slow start to score 34 unanswered points in a rout of the Raiders. The defense once again set the tone led by PS2, while the offense came into its own in the second half. The Denver Broncos Defense dominated a low scoring game in the elements, while shutting down Jets QB Aaron Rodgers. It wasn't pretty and there is plenty to improve upon, especially on the offensive side of the ball. However, this team may have found their identity dominating in the trenches. Oh...to the Jets HC Robert Saleh...stay humble.

Noooooooo...LB Alex Singleton is out for the season following confirmation of him tearing his ACL during Sunday's Game. While that news is grim, there were a couple other news points that were on the positive side.

QB Bo Nix had his best day as a pro as the Broncos Offense took the opening kickoff down for a touchdown. The Broncos Defense picked up the tone from there, while dominating the Bucs! #unitedinorange #broncos #broncoscountry #broncosfan #nfl #denvtb #podcast #broncoscountryblitz

The Denver Broncos didn't exactly have their match-up against their former QB Russell Wilson, but they found a way to lose to his now team and current Steelers Starting QB Justin Fields. Again, the Broncos Defense played well while only allowing 13 points, which should win a team a majority of their home games in the NFL. The Broncos Running Attack remains absent.

The Denver Broncos received a reality check on the competition jump from preseason to regular season. The Broncos Defense came to play while producing sacks, turnovers, and safeties, the Broncos Offense again was stuck in neutral most of the game. QB Bo Nix for the first time in a Broncos Uniform seemed shaken and confused, until a final surge that came too late in the fourth quarter. HC Sean Payton has his QB now, with expectations the results would significantly improve on offense. Only one game, but the offensive scheme seems dated.

CB Pat Surtain II is staying in Denver for the foreseeable future after inking a new 4-Year Deal. The Denver Broncos announced their Team Captains and it's the right mix of veteran leadership to go with the team's youth movement.
