The brothers are faced with a Dilemma, Judah makes an attempt to rectify the situation.

This isn't a principle I would expect a person who isn't a believer to subject themselves to by any means. On the flip side of that this is something I think at some point all believers who walk with God should come to understand. If only you matter to you then something is wrong.

Joseph continues to keep himself hidden from his brothers and they are distraught by all of their perceived misfortune.

Joseph not only has no animosity towards his brothers for what they did to him he loves and even weeps for them.  

Jacobs sons return with food but not all the news he receives was what he expected. Simeon is left in an Egyptian prison and they are told to bring back their younger brother to prove they are not spies.

We are not designed as solo beings, fellowship brings many things including encouragement at the times you need it most. 

The 10 Brothers of Joseph are exposed before him in all their weakness not knowing who he is and what he knows. In a similar fashion we are exposed before God in all truth,  yet their are times when we hide ourselves as though God doesn't know all. 

We all have something we need to and want to correct.

Gods will is executed just as he set out.

Joseph is blessed of God and placed over all Egypt.
