Jacob allowed things to slip amongst his camp and  is sent back to the place where he vowed his vow to God.

We see the problem Jacob had with deception show up in his sons at the worse time, and he is grieved by their actions.

Duality:1. that which expresses two in number 2. Division; seperation 3. The state or quality of being two. There is a war that starts when a person believes the gospel before that we are all singular in focus, after that our attention shift to God with the flesh ever present. We can see this in the lives of the people we read about in the book of Genesis.

Israel shows signs of true Godly repentance after his name is changed. 

We have no promise that everything will go how we want but God will definitely supply our needs this we can bank on.

Who was Jacob wrestling with I will not proclaim  I have this nailed down but these are some of the things people say.

There is no doubt fear is ever present among and around us but does God not have all power. Of course  God does have all power thus I will trust him and not the outcomes of my fear and doubt.

Jacob leaves laban on Gods authority and is afraid of what is ahead.

Idolatry is rampant just as it was in the Old Testament, the problem is we can not see that we have made ourselves the idol. It is no longer the carved wood or fashioned golden or silver representation of earthly things. Not that these ancient forms of idolatry aren't still prevalent. Now we worship "our Achievements, looks, wealth, and status" as though we are the originator of blessings.

Jacob takes his flight back to the land of promise and laban seeks to deceive him yet again.
