In The desire for stuff what happens when you attain and get said stuff. We have all heard the saying what does a rich man want the answer is more riches.

There should be some change in the life of a person who has believed the gospel. If nothing happens then nothing happened, think on that.

We all want to be recognized I think it is part of our nature. where the problems come in is when and were we think we deserve recognition and praise. As a brother has said to me several times we are useful but not necessary.

At one point in the not to distant past I was on the other side of this argument. It is my opinion that the electoral college is actually a genius and very balanced way to pick a president.

The Best way To stay on course is to stick with the Bible.

Letting a child get away with doing wrong in the name of being their friend does not equate to love. This line of thinking gives a person a false perception of reality from youth.

Age does not unequivocally mean a person is correct but we should always give ear to the advice and counsel of those who came before us. There is much to be learned from experience, sometimes there are things you don't learn without it.

I once heard politics jokingly explained Poli meaning many, and tics meaning blood sucking insects. I thought that was hilarious and in some ways true  though it is meant for the most part to be taken hyperbolically . This is another one of those areas that I believe Christians can have a positive affect over. We understand that the world has a final outcome laid out in the Bible but while we are here lets stand and influence when and where we can.
