Jesus draws a clear line in the sand. Those who believe in him have eternal life. Those who do not believe in him face God's wrath and condemnation.

From this passage we learn that Jesus purifies us, because of his holiness, and he is the only thing that makes us Holy.

There is a shortage of joy in our world, and Jesus is the only one who can provide the lasting joy we long to have.

"...and the Word was with God."

Being a disciple is someone who says "all other pursuits are secondary to following Jesus."

This title, the "the Word", given to Jesus Christ, is the clearest expression of who God is. Christ is the ultimate revelation of God.

Leaving a Spiritual Legacy
