In this Episode of BroStorm Sport we spend some time talking about College Football Playoff scenarios heading into conference Championship weekend:

• After a great rivalry weekend over thanksgiving, the Top 4 teams are likely to be 1) Georgia, 2) Michigan, 3) TCU, 4) USC
• We are assuming that both Georgia and Michigan will be in the Playoff regardless of championship weekend outcomes.
• TCU & USC are both likely in Win and you're in scenarios (against K-state and Utah respectively)
• If either TCU or USC lose, it opens up the door for likely 1 or 2 of three teams: Alabama, Tennessee or Ohio State.
• We debate how angry short Nick Saban will if Tennessee or Ohio State makes it over Bama
• We also discuss a potential Jim Harbaugh/Ryan Day Grudge Match (not suprisingly, we like Harbaugh in this matchup)

In the NFL, rather than breaking down week 12, we looked ahead to week 13 which has some massive matchups between contenders:

• Bills vs. Patriots on Thursday night.  Rather than talking about this game, we hear about a degenerate bet that Scott has with Friends.
• Eagles vs. Titans
• Niners vs. the Dolphins in the Mike McDaniel Bowl
• Chiefs vs. Bengals, in a rematch of last years AFC title game - but we mostly talk about how we're worried that Patrick Mahomes is going to be distracted by his newbown child.

Finally, as always we make our picks for best best of week 13 in the NFL.

• We had a rough week, as we went 3-5 last week, although in the upset of the Centry, Intern P went 2-0.
• Sasha is riding with the Lions to cover against the Jaguars & Jets to cover against the Vikings.
• Intern P is picking the Texans to cover 7 against the Browns, and the Bears/Packers to go over,
• Scott is picking Niners/Dolphins to go over, but the Broncos/Ravens to go under the total.

Next week, we'll spend some time talking about the World Cup, gearing up for the Elimination round.

To start this episode, we break down week 11 of the NFL by talking about the current playoff picture in the AFC & NFC.

• The Chiefs, after the game of the week, more or less wrapped up the AFC west with a win over the Chargers
• The Titans have the AFC South wrapped up.
• Still lots of intrigue in the AFC East and the AFC North, where Buffalo and Miami will battle it out for the AFC EAst title.
• That leaves the Chargers, Bengals, JEts and Patriots for the two final playoff spots.
• In the NFC, we're not interested in talking about the NFC South or North
• The Eagles seem to be holding on by a thread right now, battling against the Cowboys for the NFC East.
• In the West, the Niners now look to be on the rise, while the Seahawks look to rebound off of a bye.

As always we make our best bets for Week 12:

• Intern P took the Lions to cover against the Bills on Thanksgiving day, and the Bengals to cover against the Titans.
• Scott took the opposite of Intern Ps pick - the Titans to cover against the Bengals, and the Seahawks to cover against the Raiders.
• Sasha took the Chargers to cover against the Cardinals, and the Saints to cover against the 49ers.

We have some fun with Thanksgiving, picking some professional athletes as Thanksgiving personas:

• Kyrie Irving as your Brothers Girlfriend which no one really likes.
• Antonio Brown as the Crazy Aunt
• Aaron Rodgers as the senile old Grandpa who talks about Hyuasca
• Russell Wilson as the person who just have to give the Thanksgiving day speech
• Deshaun watson as your creepy Uncle
• And Taylor Heinecke as the Random guy who shows up off the street (although it really should have been Jeff Saturday)

In this Episode of BroStorm Sports, we brostorm what happened in Week 10 of the NFL

• The Bills/Vikings game was bananas, from Justin Jefferson's amazing catch, to Josh Allen's turnover problems.
• Allen has now turned the ball over 9 times in the last 3 games, and we are starting to question his ability to perform in the clutch. (Scott calls him a front-runner)
• The old guy fight back, and both Brady & Rodgers got wins on Sunday

We look ahead to week 11 of the NFL:

• A big Thursday night game between the Titans & Packers.
• Cowboys try to rebound against the Vikings who are riding high (and presumable Kirk Cousins wearing another chain on the way home)
• Can the Bills beat the browns?
• And the Chiefs/Chargers play an essential elimination game in the AFC west.

We make our best bets for the Week 11:

• Sasha is taking the Panthers & the Vikings to cover
• Scott is taking the Cardinals and the Broncos to cover (Yikes)
• Intern P is taking the Falcons & the Bills
• We are still 6 games over .500 on the year, all due to Sasha

Finally, we have some fun with early NBA season takeaways by guessing some quotes from the pre-season, and how they have aged:

• Is Zion really a lamborgini?
• Jaylen Brown being in Boston after KD trade speculation
• Luka happier about the Mavs start.
• And Russell Westbrook and Pat Bev being best friends

We start this episode, on the eve of Election Night, talking about the most controversial athletes in sports, all-time.

•  Sasha drafted Lance Armstrong, Tonya Harding, OJ Simpson, Tim Tebow and Dennis Rodman.
•  Scott Drafted Pete Rose, Mike Tyson, Barry Bonds, Deshaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers.

Coming off the world series, we talked baseball with Shooter Hunt, Vice President of Scouting at Prep baseball report, and former 1st round MLB draft pick for the Minnesota Twins.

• Shooter breaks down his take on the World series, including why people hate the Houston Astros so much, and when you know its cheating or not.
• We also talk about the waning popularity of baseball, and what leaders in the game can do to fix it.
• Finally, we hit on the rule changes, including Shooter's take on what getting rid of the shift will mean for baseball.

We give away NFL Mid-season awards:

• Arizona Cardinals for Freddie Kitchens Burn it all down mid-season award
• Jonathan Taylor for most disappointing fantasy season.
• Russell Wilson for the player least likely to be wanted back by his team after the season.
• Jalen Hurts for MVP (although lots of good debate about Mahomes and Allen)

Finally, we make our best bets for NFL week 10.

• Sasha took the colts and the cowboys to cover.
• Scott took the Bears and the Titans
• Intern P took Commanders and the Rams

We start this Episode by Trick or Treating, NFL style, focused first on the Trade deadline, and then on surprise contenders and whether or not they are for real.

•  Did teams get tricked or a treat on their deals made so far.
•  Sasha thinks the Chiefs got tricked on Kadarius Toney
•  Everyone feels good about the Eagles trade for Robert Quinnn
•  Jets got tricked on their pickup of James Robinson, who is no Breece Hall
•  We love what Christian McCaffery brings to the niners offense
• And Finally, no one feels super strong about Roquan Smith substantially changing things for the Ravens, especially in a contract year.
• For Surprise contenders - Geno Smith & the Seahawks are for real, and everyone appreciates Geno 'not writing back' to his haters
• The Vikings and Dolphins are for real, and while their quarterbacks leave something to be desired, both are better with new head coaches
• Finally, we all think the Jets, Giants, and Falcons are fake contenders, mostly because of poor quarterback play.

We also make best bets for week 9, after going 5-2 on our picks in week 8.  That is 10-3 cumulatively over the last two weeks, which would be hard to beat anywhere.  Intern P is taking the Titans and the Viking to Cover, Scott is taking the Patriots & the Falcons, and Sasha is taking the Bills and the Seahawks.
