TW • • • Literal trigger warning... Implied Violence, Police Violence, Police Brutality, White Privilege, Being Black in America and maybe some of #TheTeas and definitely who #TriedIt

Ayyyye! We kick off #SelfCareAwarenessMonth. Monday was BeyDay and the we all got a 4-day weekend. Praise Her! I announce new plans for The Intersection (Birdman Hand Rub). We prepare for Hurricane Irma. Plus #TheTeas, #DACA, #Dreamers, plus who #TriedIt.

We close out #SelfCareAwarenessMonth with our tips, tricks, and advice for Self Care, including why the unfollow, unfriend, and block buttons are your friends on social media. And of course we celebrate the #PatronessOfPaidHoes Cardi B. taking the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

The point at which we realize that we should probably have a TW/CW disclaimer for the whole show forever. The room is filled with Black Girl Magic... Me, The Choclat Girl Wunda, and Sata From The Future talk about Bey, Blue, Rumi and Sir, ashy kneegrows, mental health as a person of color at the intersection of queerness and why self-care is especially imperative in the time of 45, #TheTeas, and who #triedit...

We Hella Late... well, we hella on Intergalactic Indigenous People's Time. This week the Chocolat Girl Wunda returns and brings the cooties with her. We talk about all #TheTeas. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Davis, y'all need to quit hatin'! Why the #metoo hashtag is timely, relevant, and who started it (FYI she is a Black Woman). Plus why Miguel may just be TRASH, he #TriedIt And who is #DOINGTHEMOST

The God Jay HOVA, H to the Izzo, Jay- Z released 4:44, what else is there? Technical difficulties, Maia Campbell's breakdown and the importance of being compassionate and taking care of our mental health, also #TheTeas and who #TriedIt

We open with the oh-so-apropos "After The Pain" by Betty Wright and recount our adventures in evacuating Hurricane Irma, give thanks, find ourselves between Righteous N Ratchet, celebrate a good seafood berl and It's National Self-Care Month! Rake IT Up!

I am geeked about recapping the weekend and covering MegaConTampa 2017 for Brothas Comics, plus a visit from a Memphis friend, and the launch of lesbionyx.com. Plus, I am super psyched about National Coming Out Day, Afro Punk Fest ATL, and ATL Pride next week. And finally, YASSS! we be doing the most and we are unashamed!

The second episode, live in studio ... playing nice, attempting to have a format, still figuring some things out about radio and going live and why they changed the parade route for St. Pete Pride, Being Black in America, #theteas and who #triedit...

I love new projects and giving birth on June 14... So here is my new baby and my baby girl! New radio show (now podcast) where we discuss things that affect us intersectionally.
