Studying the origins of Halloween was taking bits and pieces and combining them from ancient records of the Roman occupation of the isles, traditional witchcraft and shamanic practices, and what the Romans had to say about the druids in the historical records. Also from the occultic arts of druidry and what the actual practice was about, which I had come across from when I was a practicing occultist for 16 years.

Every form of witchery around the world, from Haitian voodoo to Siberian shamanism to European druidry to Native American longhouse traditions it is all the same thing, just named differently. The practices in and of themselves are identical, the dances, masks, candles, rituals, spells, spirits, it’s all of the same author - it’s just given different titles. The main factor of the evolution of "Trick or Treat" from the Samhain ritual is also quite telling. Candles in the olden days were made from animal fat, and in black witchcraft they were made from human fat - which is still done to this day in many circles. In Haiti and other certain parts of the world you can purchase human fat candles for Voodoo and black magic Witchery. Druidry was not about "honoring nature" like they try to tell you today. Druidry was the British isles witch doctor native religion. Every country has its own pagan form of witchcraft and their own name for it, but their practices are all nearly completely the same. Service of the devils in ancient paganism ALWAYS takes the same road, child sacrifice. Just like the worshipers of Moloch and Baal as mentioned in the Bible. Service of the devils always leads to shedding the blood of humans, of yourself or others, as a mockery against God - For example, in 2003 in Montreal Canada a satanic cult was practicing in a basement, and they were raided by police and literally caught RED HANDED sacrificing live children to the Devil.

Ancient Druidry was literally no different than the Canaanites "spirit worship". The Samhain ritual was worship of the dark gods of death, and the point of the ritual was to satiate the gods. You were blessed by the gods if you participated in the ritual, and you were cursed if you didn't. The demonic blessing takes place by receiving a portion of the sacrifice, and a curse is a hex. Gourds cut in half and dried out were used as candle holders and incense burners. And people who participated in the rituals would all light candles and walk ceremoniously to the "high places" for worship - just like they still do. After the rituals you place the candles on your doorstep, leading the spirits from the “high place” to your home, also indicating their participation to others. If you did not signal your participation your home would be cursed by the gods and others. Druidry and ancient black witchcraft are nearly identical Also, what now is the primary candle signifier of participation in Halloween? The jack-o-lantern.
