Brotherly Love Gaming

Today on the podcast Alex gabs about Fire Emblem Three Houses for way too long, and also Spence has been playing a Naruto game. Alex explains why Three Houses is not just his current favorite Nintendo Switch game, it may even be (his) 2019 Game of the Year. Listen to find out just what he likes about it so much, and why you should give it a try.

The YouTube portion of this show will feature Fire Emblem talk with video from the game, so subscribe to us there to check it out, along with our other gaming related videos: youtube.com/channel/UCnkuWkajNGilC67TfW7wD5g

Today on the podcast we're talking about recent Pokemon controversies surrounding the upcoming Sword and Shield. A lot of hardcore fans are not happy about some key changes to the series, so we break it down and talk about what Pokemon even means to us anymore. Before all that though Spence is excited to talk about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and Alex is…less excited to talk about buying a PSone Classic (yes, really).

Today on the podcast we're talking about what surprised, amazed, and infuriated us about E3 2019. We both agree on the winner of the week, but that’s about all we agree on. It’s a long one, so strap in and get ready for some video game talk!

Today on the podcast we're talking about Pokemon Sword and Shield, which had a big Pokemon Direct yesterday. A ton of new features were announced and we even got a release date: November 15, 2019. I have a gripe about the way it’s being released though…

We got a lot of game announcements this week so it’s a new games packed episode. I talked a lot about the Sega Genesis Mini, which is available for pre-order but doesn’t seem to have the desperate fervor of previous classic consoles…which could be good or bad? We will see!

We’re returning to an old format this week to talk about our first memories with Pokemon, and our other brother Zack joins us. Pokemon had a huge impact on all of our lives. It helped us make friends, learn to read (me), and served as an introduction to a much larger world of gaming. We’ve grown up a lot since the late 90s so it’s easy to forget just how huge Pokemon was, but we did our best to call up those old memories!
