Today we're starting a new, unique category - games where you control a vehicle but are not racing. To kick things off we have Twisted Metal Black, originally released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2. We have mentioned the Twisted Metal series a few times in our Bonus Level episodes and are excited to deep dive into what many consider the best game in the series.

The brothers discuss their favorite and least favorite characters to play, as well as the stories that act as each character's motivation for entering the Twisted Metal contest. They also ponder whether a new entry in the series would be popular amongst modern gamers.

The horror continues with 2015's SOMA, developed and published by Frictional Games. Boasting a deep, thought provoking story, SOMA offers a unique horror game experience for the Brothers & Boss Battles catalogue.

The brothers enjoyed the rich story of SOMA but had issues with some of the gameplay mechanics. Themes of the game's story end up spurring a philosophical debate on what it means to be human.

Spooky season is right around the corner and we're back with another round of horror games. We're getting started with the sequel to the winner of last year's survival horror Brodown episode. The Evil Within 2 was released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in October 2017 and was developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks. Did the sequel live up to our expectations?

The brothers naturally spend some time comparing this game to the stellar first installment of the series. They also discuss the story and how it fits into The Evil Within universe as a whole. It's gametime! This week's episode sees Mario Superstar Baseball, Sega Soccer Slam, and NFL Street enter the brodown arena. Which of these cartoony sports games will come out on top?
