Sweden is not a secular country neither are Swedes religious people. Sweden used to be a religious country and still celebrates some Christian traditions like Christmas, Easter, Ascension day, The day of the dead and numerous Catholic Christian traditions etc. Irrespective of the religious history in Sweden, Swedes are mostly atheists. Religion and faith is no longer very important as it used to be in Sweden.
