from baljeet to princess jasmine, we all grew up with someone on screen that looks like us that helped us feel a bit more comfortable with the way we looked. as we get older, it's fun looking back and discussing the impact these brown-skinned characters have had, not only in us but in how diversity and inclusivity in mainstream media. we spent this ep reminiscing on some of the characters that we held close, and highlighted some of our favorites in media today that go above and beyond is making sure they're showcasing brown culture as best as they can for us. this was a fun one and we hope you have fun listening :^)
