Grant sits down with Josh Olson and Russ Gontarek of Thorne Bros Custom Rod & Tackle in Blaine, MN. In typical 3bt fashion, the conversation spirals around beer, BS, and brown fish. Russ and Josh share what's new at Thorne Bros and the Fly Angler, tips for your first guide trip, and how to survive a peasant diet.

Wait... Another musky fly fishing episode? You got it! Grant sits down with Dan and Josh to review the Fall Musky Camp experience back in November. Don't expect to get the secret sauce here kids, because the Musky Garden of Eden has a pile of shit in the middle of it. Be sure to check out the Musky Fool brick and mortar down in the Madison area, there's trout stuff too! And for you sticker nuts out there, Josh has some of the best there is.

Happy fall everyone! We took the summer to be with family, grill hot dogs, and finalize the new podcast studio. We talk a bit about the Rush fish kill down in MN, events happening around the twin cities, and what kind of fishing we haven't been doing over the summer. Be sure to check out the links below to contact your local TU chapter and DNR to voice your opinion on how we can keep our streams healthy for generations to come.

We had the pleasure of visiting the new Margo+Lola fly fishing school on the Rush River near Ellsworth Wisconsin in late March. Co-founder Mark Walinske gave us a proper tour of the grounds and was even nice enough to put us on a few nice fish. We learn about what the fly fishing school has to offer and how Margo+Lola is pushing to make Flyfishing more accessible for all. Looking for your next team work building event? Or maybe a get away with some friends? Be sure to check out the links below and reach out to Mark with any questions!

Ted and Jim sit down to drop some winter fishing knowledge on us over zoom. These two are some of the more die hard winter trout fisherman we've had the pleasure of sharing the stream with. We cover line setups, keeping those toes warm, and how to best keep your hands soft during these cold winter months. Ted fills us in with some TU work on the Kinni and Jim shares some quality rod length data for kayak fishing. Be sure to check them out below and look into volunteering with TU!

Jake and Mike drop in to chat about a new project, Water Sabbath. The two have teamed up to bring a much needed breath of fresh air to the fly fish film library and look to release in April. Tune in to check out this idea of "Rest from labor" and how we could all use a bit of a nudge to pursue our passions away from the 9-5. We'll keep you updated as we move to the release of the film, but until then give them a follow and this a listen!
