  • Whos In Charge Tonight? (with sax solo)
A funky song about standing up for yourself. Singalong!
    Lyrics:
    Verse 1
Take pride in what you say
Don’t let people stand in your way
    Live to fight another day
Assertiveness will get you all the way
    Stand up for yourself
    Go for what you know
    Shoot those critics down
    Chorus:
    Grab your beliefs
    Who’s in Charge Tonight
    YOU ARE!
    Grab your beliefs
    You’re in charge tonight
    YEAH YOU!
    Verse 2
Be a leader but don’t go to far
Stay on top but raise the bar
    Take your chances
    But don’t take a fall
    Meet your enemy
    Crush them to the wall
    Stand up for yourself
    Go for what you know
    Shoot those critics down
    Chorus:
    Grab your beliefs
    Who’s in Charge Tonight
    YOU ARE!
    Grab your beliefs
    You’re in charge tonight
    YEAH YOU!
    SAX SOLO
    Stand up for yourself
    Go for what you know
    Shoot those critics down
    Chorus:
    Grab your beliefs
    Who’s in Charge Tonight
    YOU ARE!
    Grab your beliefs
    You’re in charge tonight
    YEAH YOU!

  • Are You Ready To Rock?
I wrote this song in 1983 and recorded it as a teenager on just a piano and cassette tape with all the hissing.
After all those years of dreaming it would become a rock song, it finally has that rock sound I always wanted and here it is. Featuring @tommyvitaly Tommy Vitaly on lead guitar.

  • Life
A cool pop track about enjoying life with your loved one, travelling to the stars, experiencing love and joy.
    Lyrics:
    Verse 1
A destiny, a look ahead. It's time for us to fly
Two hearts together, On the open road
Not a cloud in the sky.
No fork in the road only love
Another chapter in the book of life.
    Chorus:
    Let's get away let's chase a dream
Let's perfect our love let's walk through the wild
    THAT's LIFE!
One thing I know, we got each other
And nothing can take that away
    THAT's LIFE!
    Verse 2
They say the memories last for a lifetime
No photograph can show me how our love just aligns
No fork in the road only love
Another chapter in the book of life.
    Chorus:
    Let's get away Let's chase a dream
Let's perfect our love Let's walk through the wild
    THAT's LIFE!
One thing I know, we got each other
And nothing can take that away
    THAT's LIFE!
    Let's get away Let's chase a dream

  • Rock My World
A cool rock song. I played the rhythm guitar on this myself which is new for me after playing piano and saxophone for more than 40 years. Expect my guitar playing to improve with each new song. It has only been a little over 2 years. Features Tommy Vitaly @tommyvitaly on lead and rhythm guitar, Jason Meekins on drums and Bruce Chamoff on rhythm guitar, bass guitar and vocals. Written for Shari.
Sounds like 80's rock something like a combination of Loverboy, Richard Marx, Eagles, Elton John, Billy Joel and Aerosmith all in one. What you do you think? Who is this for, 50s and over, 30s and over age group?

    Lyrics:
    Verse 1
This is not the life I’ve been dreamin
I’m not doing what I wanted to
It’s just another day for the average man.
I’m sipping from the wine of life
I wish you were on the same page
This is just something that I think you should know
    Did you know I’m hurting?
I can feel you coming down
This is just another way you broke my heart again
    Chorus:
    You gave me life
    But you’re killing me slowly
But I want you to know how you made me feel when you showed your emotion
    You’re stealing my soul
    You’re stealing my soul
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh (2x)
    Verse 2
I know you come from a different time
But we live on the wavelength
Still I feel like we’re worlds apart
And you told me not stray
But my life is down and dirty
But you told me I can do just anything that I want
    Don’t you know I’m hurting?
I can feel you coming down
I wonder if you care how you made me break again
    Chorus:
    You gave me life
    But you’re killing me slowly
But I want you to know how you made me feel when you showed your emotion
    You’re stealing my soul
    You’re stealing my soul
You’re taking my life away from me
    You’re killing me slowly yeah!
    Sax solo
    Do you know I’m hurting?
And I can feel you coming down
This is just another way you break my heart again
    Chorus:
    You gave me life
    But you’re killing me slowly
But I wanted you to know how you made me feel when you show your emotion
    You gave me life
    But you’re killing me slowly
But I wanted you to know how you made me feel when you show your emotion
    You’re stealing my soul
    You’re stealing my soul

  • I Don't Care If You Think Rock and Roll Is Dead
A new song about the fact that pop and hip hop are taking over when there is a whole generation of people who grew up with rock and roll.
    Lyrics:
    Verse 1
    Turn up your radio
    Give me a cassette tape
Turn up all the way to 10
It’s just another day in the life of the
    Rock n roll fantasy
Dance on the floor as much as you can
    So open the jukebox
Fill it with the rolling stones
    Eliminate the newer crap
    Hip hop, EDM, DJ-flavored hollaback
Let’s put our music back on the map
    I pick up my saxophone
Or I play it on the smart phone
My ears are going crazy nuts
The beat is too low to hear the flow
    Social distancing political
    It doesn't matter anyway
    Chorus:
I Don’t Care If You Think Rock n Roll is Dead
    I’m gonna play it anyway
I Don’t Care If You Think Rock n Roll is Dead
    Verse 2
    I wanna play the stereo
    Covid live scenario
Concerts aren’t a thing of the past
    Rapping on the microphone
    Singing under overtones
Doesn’t lift me up that fast
    I wanna feel the energy
    Generate some synergy
With people who embrace the music
    Travel on an airplane
    Listen to some Cobain
    Bohemian Rhapsody
    Generation overload
    Television episodes
    Syndicate the 8 track tapes
    Intoxicate the human race
Play them all some 3 Days Grace
Cheap Trick Pearl Jam Ace of Base
    Chorus:
    Verse 3
    Listen to the amplifier
    Calculate the multiplier
And then they say don’t touch that dial
    Animate, Intimidate, Automate, and Checkmate
    Rappers are in denial
    So drown that boom box
    Pacify the paradox
Pick up my guitar and play
Rock of Ages Let It Be
Magic Man and Walk this way
    Still dominate air play

  • NOBODY CARES - A song about the protests in the USA
This song represents the frustration we all have in the United States where the 4 officers were charged for the George Floyd issue. The officers are already off the force, so why are we still protesting? Justice is served, the man is commemorated and we need to move on. The lyrics of this rock track do not mention anything about it as the lyrics are more subtle and I write about my opinion in a more subtle way.
