During the week of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we preview the TSO's upcoming performance of Brundibár, a powerful children's opera by Jewish Czech composer Hans Krása which was performed by the children of Theresienstadt concentration camp before they (and composer Krása) were sent to the gas chambers at Auschwitz. Joining us for the discussion are Hindea Markowicz, who is Director of the Ruth Fajerman Markowicz Holocaust Resource Center, and David Saygers, Artistic Administrator for Toledo School for the Arts (which is taking part in the performance).
