If you find a partner who will complain if they do not get a kiss in the rain or a selfie on top of a Ferris wheel, they either suck as a  person or they are 13 years old.  Either way, run because you are probably committing a crime!  Or about to commit one if they don’t shut the fuck up soon.  Romance by definition is forced and stupid.  Look at valentine’s day.   A corporate suck hole based on the façade of romance but actually based around people deciding how much not getting bitched at will cost them.

Join us on our adventure into the fun world of being with someone who has different religious beliefs than you.  It takes understanding, compassion, trust, and lots of ridicule.  Sure, life would be easier if we all had the same imaginary friend, but we have to grow up sometime…or not.  This episode will hopefully show that we can have different beliefs and still not be total dicks to each other about it.

This is our first mini-episode. In it, we discuss how we are surviving staying at home together 24/7 during the Covid-19 epidemic.  We discuss how we are passing the time/distracting ourselves from the urges to shrink from the specter of inevitable truth...or something. So far, we haven't killed each other yet.

This week we delve into mental illness and how we dealt with it as a couple.  The experience brought us closer together through a kind of symbiotic empathy that we have transferred to other issues in order to be able to deal with them as well.  This is an important episode to us as we want to breakdown the stigmatic walls that imprison open conversations involving mental illness.  

Suicide is one of the leading causes of death for people our age, and the number is so hight greatly do to the lack of perceived acceptance when one is faced with it.

Every couple has their disagreements and arguments, ours are simply few and far between and involve arbitrary topics not usually associated with "normal" relationship disputes.  There will be no infidelity or other lies here, just a bowling ball and science T.V. show.

Like with all great love stories there has to be an origin, ours just isn't as conventual.  We met, we drank, we moved in, and got in engaged over 6 months. Which looking back on it is insane. It was not sunshine and roses, but it was 10 years ago so something went right.
