This week Deklan takes us back to Alcatraz and we go talk about when the inmates took over the island and the prison. Several inmates made an attempt to escape the prison by assaulted guards, stealing keys and weapons. It was a 3 day stand off that resulted in several deaths.

During the Liberian First Civil War he was a military warlord. He believed he and his men were bulletproof because of their special practices they did as a group. Jane tells us about Leonard Kille, an engineer, who had several patents to his name. He was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia when he told hospital staff about experiments on his brain. It took years for doctors to learn the truth.

Jane tells us about popular bigfoot enthusiast, Peter Byrne, who founded the Bigfoot Information Center in Oregon. One day in the 1970s he received a report of a Bigfoot sighting in a forest of the Pacific Northwest. When he discovered a mysterious hair sample in the area of the sighting he gathered it and sent it to the FBI for testing. It took decades for him to learn the results of the testing.

This week Jane tells us about the quadruple killing in Moscow, ID in 2022. It took police about 6 weeks to identify and arrest the suspected killer, Bryan Kohberger. Although he initially denied being the killer, in June 2025 he pleaded guilty and was sentenced in July 2025.

Deklan tells us about the dreadful working conditions that Karen Silkwood was subjected to working at a fuel manufacturing company that dealt with plutonium pellets. She discovered her body and home were contaminated by nuclear material and discussed with the labor union her findings and the need for changes. Before she could discuss the issue with reporters she died in a mysterious car accident.

Several members of the family believed they were being tracked or stalked. Over days the family became separated and more than one member of the family ended up in a mental health facility due to their behaviors.
