This evening we discuss what brought about the splitting of the Red Sea (not what you think), and apply this to our lives with an insight of Rebbetzin Temima Mizrachi, and a wonderful story by Sarah Tuttle-Singer. We explain the presence of the tambourines Miriam and the other women used to accompany their singing and dancing after safely crossing the Red Sea. We provide a new explanation of Moshe's raised hands against Amalek with a poignant story from Rabbi Yechiel Spero. And, as we will not be meeting next week, we share an insight of Rabbi Avraham Kook into the dual nature of Shabbat.
