John Gonzalez and Amy Sherman co-host "Behind the Mitten," a radio show and podcast about all things Michigan.

On this show (which aired Aug. 29, 2015), John and Amy broadcast from Sault Ste. Marie in the Upper Peninsula.

That's right: "Behind the Mitten" goes "Above the Mitten."

While at the 1668 Winery & Lockside Brewery, they interview Linda Hoath and Maria Goos of the Sault Ste. Marie Convention and Visitors Bureau. They talk about local events, as well as the upcoming Bridge Run, which is Sept. 26.

John and Amy also interview owner/brewer/winemaker Ray Bauer, who also owns the nearby Soo Brewery Company. He offers Beer of the Week.

Oh, and they ALL get a surprise from Paul Beachnau of the Gaylord Tourism Bureau.
