Plenty of news in the yet to be named British Pro League! Enough for us not to do the movie draft... Instead, a new Surrey franchise, new Lions owners and a whole bunch of rumours!

This week Pabz and Grant open the mailbag, after a couple of weeks off.

It's just Pabz for the show, opening with a somewhat sombre monologue, before dropping not one, but two classic podcasts. The first is VINCE MACAULAYS' "Dessert Island Hoops" from back in the summer of 2019, giving his basketball story, music and items to take to his dessert island. The second is from back in the FBBL Podcast days, with a timeless interview with the BBLs Greatest Of All Time, Mr ALTON BYRD. He takes a look back over his time in the UK and offers some insight into pro basketball in the BBL back in the 80s and 90s.

Wayne P and Pabz discuss past MVP selections and offer an alternative for a handful of alternatives for a few specific seasons.

The guys are joined by basketball genius RUSS LEVENSTON, who talks extensively about his career in basketball so far, including being a statistician for Vince Macaulay, aged 11 through to his impressive 17 year tenure with one of the greatest teams in BBL history.

The guys are joined by top journalist, Paul Brown. Mr Brown spends an hour or so with the guys, running through the current situation with 777 and how that might relate to the future of the BBL. The guys hang around after to discuss whether the 777 era has been a worthwhile experiment and experience...?

Here we go! The PAT-PACKS Nathan and Jack are in the house to take on a BTR Select, consisting of Grant and Nicholson. Plenty of fun and frivolity on hand as the two teams battle their way through a series of challenging rounds, all put together by Pabz. There's a University Challenge type round, starting 5s, Mastermind and a Play Your Cards Right stats based game as well... The guys also announce the BTR Season Awards!

Grant and Pabz are joined by the BTR and BBL COAH OF THE SEASON and the man behind the most exciting team in the league this season, the Cheshire Phoenix own BEN THOMAS. The guys talk about the epic Playoff Final, the Trophy Final and the season as a whole, not to mention what the off season might bring! All this plus listener questions for Ben and a conversation at the end between Grant and Pabz on the current BBL climate.
