In this episode on BTS we learn about an up-and-coming comedian, currently living in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lou So. She talks to us about her journey in a male-dominated industry and how she has pushed her way through some of the barriers. Lou So started her stand-up in a talent contest on a cruise ship that her best friend signed her up for; 2 years ago. She admits, she probably would have never got up on stage had it not been for the push of that friend who believed in her so much. We dive into the comedian world a little more as we also explore the power of words. Lou So admits that many of her "jokes' are about herself, while Lea inquires if she believes that her words hold weight. You will hear Lou So reflect on a few hardships that she has encountered in her life and what she has done and is still doing to overcome them. She looks forward to reaching more audiences around the globe with transformative comedy that inspires others to break the mold and find love and laughter in their own flaws as she has in hers, and eventually moving to LA and becoming a household name.
