happy halloween everyone~ in honor of the spooky season, we got DARK. in this episode we wrestle with our thoughts on death, the afterlife, and our own mortality. the conversation was a little srs + a touch emotional - but certainly not lacking any laughter, costumes, and stories about Kevin’s former crushes

This episode is centered around western churches and their ethical responsibilities to society and secular culture. More specifically, white evangelicalism and its relationship with Hip Hop and black culture. What does it mean to enjoy the rights and privileges of partaking in any culture and benefiting from it while simultaneously denying any responsibility to its welfare or plights. What does it mean to be socially and ethically responsible. 

we juggle our ideas of micro and macro applications of empathy & why it's essential for large-scale change, with some hypocrisy thrown in for good measure.
