Buccaneers Smackdown

Cam Newton shoots his mouth off at the start of training camp, priming the pump for a couple of meaningful games this upcoming football season versus the Carolina Panthers.  Also, Todd Bowles's defense is show really great signs of promise even in just the early stages of training camp.

At least according to one former Buccaneer player, it would take a miracle for the Buccaneers to make the playoffs this season.  We also revisit the importance of the run game as Ronald Jones bulks up, and analyze the position change of M.J. Stewart from corner to nickel/safety.  Training camp starts soon with rookies due to report on 7/21 as Devin White remains unsigned.

The Buccaneers maintain model of consistency of having a yearly suspension of a player for use of PED's -- this is the 5th consecutive season in which a suspension of a player has occured.  Also, franchise tag coming for Jameis Winston?
