  • Episode 14- World Juniors and Interview with "Le Guerrier" Mathieu Ste-Marie

In this episode, I recap the magical game that was. Canada wins Gold. I touch on the woes of the Montreal Canadiens and I gain insight on what it takes to be an enforcer when you are undersized. Mathieu Ste-Marie is 5'-6-3/4" but he faced all the Monsters that came his way. Guys like Laferriere and Garrett Burnett (Former Anaheim Enforcer) to give you an idea. In the days where the LNAH was an absolute battlefield, he participated in over 70 fights and he tells me what he had to do to get in close with opponents who were much taller. He played in many different leagues but most notably the Q where he had his fare share of dust ups as well. From Running into the crowd with his skates on to falling from a second story building and breaking his wrists. This guy did it all and two broken wrists wouldn't stop him from dropping the gloves. Pretty sure you don't want to steal this guy's Yoga Matt. Welcome to the Podcast "Le Guerrier" Mathieu Ste-Marie.
