Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast, ‘Bucketheads’ takes you on a journey across the college basketball landscape every episode. The only basketball-focused podcast in the LGHL family of podcasts, co-hosts Connor Lemons and Justin Golba give the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as all the other happenings in the college hoops world. 
During this week’s episode, Connor and Justin recap some of the things we learned from Ohio State’s media day last week, including injury updates and the progression of some of the younger players.
They also talk about Ohio State’s opponent for this year’s “secret” scrimmage, which is not —and is never — actually a secret. The guys also discuss why the Buckeye Nuthouse selling out student tickets in one hour is such a remarkable feat.
Finally, Connor closes with a raunchy and slightly concerning story about former Utah and St. Louis head coach Rick Majerus, who was... well... not shy about his body, we can say.

There’s been a lot of news out of Ohio State since our last episode. The annual OSU Spring Game took place, multiple Buckeyes either got selected in the 2024 NFL Draft or signed undrafted free agent deals to attend various team camps, transfer portal activity continues, and the team got a new running backs coach.
We start with a look back at the Ohio State Spring Game. Chip Minnich attended and updated listeners with the latest on what the game day experience is now like for attending the event. Plus, we discussed which players showed well in the scrimmage, and we agree that the running backs, defensive backs, and a couple of linebackers stole all the headlines. We also discuss the quarterback situation and whether the Spring Game changes anything about the pecking order.
After our breakdown, we had to go through the list of transfer portal departures. We know where Dallan Hayden and Cedrick Hawkins are going next, but we’re not so sure as of the recording of this show about Ja’Had Carter.
The Buckeyes have a new man coaching the running backs, as Carlos Locklyn has joined Ryan Day’s staff. We discuss what he brings to the team in terms of his own work ethic as well as look back upon what his most recent team did running the football.
We ended the show with a look at where four former Buckeyes will be trying to lock down a spot on an NFL roster. Marvin Harrison, Jr., set another school mark on his way to the NFL; Cade Stover will be reunited with C.J. Stroud, Tommy Eichenberg is going to a place that seems like it’s well-suited for him, and Michael Hall, Jr., is staying in the state of Ohio. Plus, a look at where those who weren’t drafted will be trying to make their case for an NFL roster spot.

Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Podcast Network’s I-80 Football Show. On this show, we travel down I-80 to talk about all things Big Ten Football. This is the only Big Ten Podcast that’ll cover all 18 teams. After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
For years we’ve been lied to about women’s sports. The line was that investing in women’s sports was bad business because no one watched women’s sports. Despite the success of the USWNT, they were making less than the men and there was no support for a US-based women’s professional league despite their being a men’s league that had a lot less success nationally. Now they can’t tell this lie anymore as the past few years have shown that people watch women’s sports and it is good business to invest, they just didn’t believe in women’s sports. 
In the past few years, Women’s basketball has been on the rise and it has officially exploded due to stars like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. This year’s March Madness was run by the women with the women’s tournament outselling the men and significantly outperforming them in television ratings. We are finally starting to get invested in Women’s sports as people begin to realize there is always good if not better play in women’s sports. There just was an intentional decision not to sport them by execs, businesses, television companies, and marketing firms. Truthfully, there has also been a lack of investment from WNBA leadership at times. 
In this episode, Dante, Jordan, and our guest DaNaysia have a passionate discussion about the future of the WNBA and women’s sports. While facing this major boom of interest in the sport the WNBA must capitalize on the interest and turn people into long term fans. One of the biggest concerns facing the WNBA is the lack of teams and roster spots which does not allow for many college stars to make the team. We all agree that the WNBA needs to expand, and Jordan believes expansion is the first step to creating a more sustainable product and capitalizing on the interest. Dante believes the WNBA needs to fix its internal issues first and that expanding without doing that is bad business.

Hangout in the Holy Land: Its NFL draft week, so where do we think the Buckeyes are heading?

“Bucketheads” is LGHL’s men’s basketball podcast, hosted by Connor Lemons and Justin Golba. In every episode, they give you the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes and everything else happening in college hoops.
In episode 118 of Bucketheads, Connor and Justin are back to recap a busy week for Ohio State men’s basketball. Once thought to be key returners and pieces to the 2024-25 team, Felix Okpara and Roddy Gayle Jr. are officially no longer Buckeyes.
Okpara entered the transfer portal over the weekend after originally saying he would be returning to Columbus for his junior season. We discuss what the Buckeyes need to do now with two spots available moving forward and how to fill those after losing Okpara and Gayle.
In the second half, we welcome John Fanta from Fox Sports to talk about all things Ohio State. We talk about the hiring of Diebler, why it was a great move by Ross Bjork, the Buckeyes three transfer additions thus far, and how he sees the Buckeyes performing next season.

After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. The guys are back and there is a lot to talk about. The spring transfer portal is open and while there are not many key Big Ten players in the portal the portal isn’t going anywhere. The NCAA just approved unlimited transferring which means players finally have free movement. While we agree that the players should be able to move freely Jordan thinks there needs to be a few guidelines in place to protect the players. Most of the players who transfer more than once are not going to be headed to the NFL, what obligation does the NCAA have to protest them academically?
The NFL draft is around the corner and there are a bunch of current or future Big Ten schools represented in the first round. Led by USC’s Caleb Williams the top of the draft will have representation all over the board. Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. and Washington’s Rome Odunze are at the top of the boards while Penn State’s Olu Fashanu is one of the highest-rated offensive linemen in the draft. It may be a bit of a reach if you ask us but Michigan JJ McCarthy is projected to hear his name called in the first five picks! Stay tuned as the Big Ten will be heavily represented in the top ten picks. 
The NBA playoffs are here, does anyone have a chance to stop the Nuggets and Celtics from making the finals? Plus are Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic on track to be better than LeBron James? Dante thinks so.
