Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Podcast Network’s I-80 Football Show. On this show, we travel down I-80 to talk all things Big Ten Football. This is the only Big Ten Podcast that’ll cover all 18 teams. After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
The guys are back but before they get into the Big Ten they hit a massive traffic jam in the traffic update. As a Kent State alumni, there is not a major expectation of a successful football program but after Sean Lewis there was at least hope. New head coach Kenni Burns is on his way to a 1-23 record in his first two seasons. On top of there, rumors are swirling in the media about character issues. It’s time for Kent State to let Kenni go and find a coach who can at least fight for a bowl game. In other news, Wisconsin fired their offensive coordinator and Oregon has secured a spot in the Big Ten championship game. The full game should be decided this weekend after the Ohio State-Indiana game.
Speaking of Ohio State-Indiana, the guys break down the game including the impact of Ohio State losing its starting center three days before the game. Indiana is coming off a bye week but in their last game, a win over Michigan, they were bullied on the line of scrimmage and had their worst offensive showing. Now down two starting offensive linemen, Ohio State will need to rely on Jim Knowles and its defense to win the game. One of the biggest keys of the game is how Ohio State’s struggling corners hold up against the Indiana wide receivers. If you follow the national media you will see a lot of talk about how this game could be an elimination game for Indiana as they could get jumped by a two-loss SEC team. This game is huge because there is a spot in the Big Ten championship on the line but both teams, win or lose, should make the 12-team field.
TheMapquestt segment is pretty barren as the Friday night game is awful and there is not a primetime matchup this week but Ohio State-Indiana should make up for it at noon. In the mid-day slot, there are two games between 5-5 teams hoping to make a bowl game as Wisconsin plays Nebraska and Michigan plays Northwestern. The after-dark game is a rivalry game for USC and UCLA as the Trojans, with Notre Dame next week, need this win to finish the season with six wins. UCLA has a chance to upset their rival and go into the last week of the season against Fresno State with a chance to go from 1-5 to 6-6.
In their weekly pitstop, Jordan and Dante discuss Cleveland's bids to bring the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) to Cleveland. With both leagues many have teams on the East and West Coast with few teams in the mid-west, Cleveland should be an ideal spot for both leagues. Here’s hoping we have women’s professional sports back in Cleveland by 2028.

Throughout the year, Land-Grant Holy Land will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conferences, but also from individual interview sessions.
Tuesday night, an in-state rivalry between Ohio State University and Ohio University tipped off on the basketball court when the Ohio State women's basketball team took on the Bobcats. After going up 15-0 to start, it would get worse for Ohio, with the Buckeyes pulling away for a 106-42 victory.
After the game, head coach Kevin McGuff, center Elsa Lemmilä and forward Taylor Thierry spoke with the media.
McGuff talked about an injury to forward Cotie McMahon which made her miss her first game in her college career. Also, the head coach of the Buckeyes talked about shifting focus as the game got out of hand and how well Lemmilä did in her best performance of her young freshman season.
Lemmilä and Thierry discussed their impacts in the game, including both Buckeyes having double-doubles and Thierry shooting strong from beyond the arc.

We are back for another mid-week episode of Hangout in the Holy Land, and we have a top-five-ranked matchup to preview. The No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers (10-0) come to Columbus to face the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes (9-1) in a Big Noon Kickoff (sorry folks) showdown.
How have the Hoosiers got to this point? It is a combination of great play, coaching, and a schedule that is one of the easiest in the Power Four. And how can they beat the Buckeyes? And what do the Buckeyes have to do to avoid an upset?
We also make our predictions, discuss the College Football playoffs and some very real scenarios, and give a quick basketball update.

Throughout the year, Land-Grant Holy Land will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conferences, but also from individual interview sessions.
About 20 minutes after capping off Ohio State’s first 50-point win in a decade, freshman forward Colin White and sophomore forward Devin Royal spoke to the media about their individual performances and how they’re both growing up within the Ohio State men’s basketball program.
White, who was at the podium because Royal wanted him to be there after having a big game, said he’s trying to make the most of the limited opportunities he has. He also spoke a bit about Evan Mahaffey and what the junior forward brings to practice and games every day.
Royal shared what Diebler told him before the game and confirmed that his plan was to drive to the basket and not settle for jump shots against Evansville. He also talked about how he remembers some of the same “learning moments” White is currently going through as a freshman.
Diebler talked about White and Royal more than any other players, saying that White has worked on everything Diebler has asked him to work on since he committed to Ohio State in 2023. He also said Royal’s full arsenal was on display, and although he didn’t attempt a three on Tuesday, he needs to watch the film to make sure Royal didn’t intentionally pass up any threes, either.

Throughout the year, the Land-Grant Podcast Network will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conferences, but also from individual interview sessions.
On today’s episode of “Land-Grant Uncut,” we are bringing you unedited audio from the Tuesday, Nov. 19 press conference featuring head football coach Ryan Day, defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, and starting quarterback Will Howard. This press conference took place before practice on Tuesday afternoon, and therefore before the injury to starting center Seth McLaughlin which appears to have resulted in a torn Achilles tendon, ending his season. So, there will not be any discussion of the impact of that injury in this episode.
However, the trio does discuss what they expect to see from the No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday. Day opens his comments by asking Buckeye fans to turn up and be loud at The Horseshoe for the game.

[Note: My apologies for the audio, as Chip sounded great and I did not. Unbeknownst to me, everything was running through my external laptop microphone, so I come off a bit echoey.]
Ohio State didn’t come out of the gates convincing against the Northwestern Wildcats at Wrigley Field, but the Buckeyes eventually settled in and took care of business in the final road game of the regular season. The Buckeyes ultimately won comfortably but it took a couple of quarters and a huge Northwestern mistake to get things moving in the right direction.
We break down the key plays and moments in the game, check our picks to click, and look back at our score predictions to see how we well we foretold the matchup in the Windy City.
After our Northwestern rewind, we looked at the other matchups around the Big Ten this weekend, including a close one at Camp Randall that had the Oregon Ducks on upset alert for much of the afternoon. We also tell you which teams have arrived at bowl eligibility and discuss what USC needs to do to be more competitive in the conference.
Finally, we looked ahead to a huge game against Indiana, which is not something we expected when the season started. The Hoosiers have been impressive, regardless of which teams were on their schedule. The Buckeyes are sure to have their hands full on Saturday in the Shoe. We preview the game, select the players we think will click for Ohio State, and make our score predictions.

The Land-Grant Women’s Basketball Podcast is a show dedicated to coverage of the Ohio State women’s basketball team. Each Monday during the basketball season, LGHL recaps recent games, previews upcoming contests, and talks with those in and around the Ohio State women’s basketball universe. Hear directly from players and coaches and receive additional context behind what they say to the media.
Ohio State women's basketball took to the court twice in week two with vastly different wins. On Tuesday, it was a big shooting performance from deep by Chance Gray, and the Buckeyes losing their freshman phenom for a half. Then, on Sunday, it was a poor shooting day all around with rebounding, Cotie McMahon and last second Jaloni Cambridge brilliance bringing a win back to Columbus.
On this week's "Land-Grant WBB Podcast," a closer look at the wins over Charlotte and Belmont, plus looking ahead to another week of two mid-major sides trying to best the Buckeyes.
Hear from Kevin McGuff, Cotie McMahon, Jaloni Cambridge and Chance Gray from the two games and hear who wins the Player of the Week award, a brand new award the one-person voting of host Thomas Costello will decide each week.

Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Podcast Network’s Power Two Podcast. On this show, we talk about Big Ten and SEC football…and everyone else. This show is for the die-hard fans and the casual college football fans. After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the major matchups of the previous weekend and look ahead at the games, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host DaNaysia Jones. Lock in as we run a power sweep through the college football landscape.
On this week’s episode, DJ and Jordan discuss their weeks and their jobs before jumping into the news. In the news, more coaches have been unceremoniously dismissed from their jobs. Coach Cignetti got a ridiculous extension from Indiana. Ashton Jeanty also has broken the Boise State single-season rushing record previously held by Jay Ayaji.
In the two-minute drill, Jordan and DJ discuss Colorado’s continued dominance and potential guaranteed spot in the Big 12 Championship. This prompted a deeper discussion about the Big 12 contenders and how everything could shake out. Nebraska has another historic miss in clinching their bowl game. What could this season mean for the future of their Dylan Raiola? Georgia runs all over Tennessee but what does this mean for the rest of the SEC? Does Indiana lose their chance at getting into the playoffs?
SEC “Dominance” is a tiring topic of discussion season and has proven that a lot of bias is at play. Hopefully, as the regular season comes to a close, we start to see will fair assessments of which teams deserve a playoff berth and which ones just missed the mark.
In the pre-game power sweep, Jordan and DJ advise you to have your Friendsgiving parties on Friday night because there is nothing to see. On Saturday, they recommend: Noon: Ohio State University-Indiana, SMU-Virginia, Mid-Day: Colorado-Kansas, Wisconsin-Nebraska, and BYU-Arizona State, Primetime: Army-Notre Dame or any of the SEC games, and After Dark: USC-UCLA.
In the two-minute warning, Jordan praises Anthony Richardson’s performance in the Colts vs Jets game. DJ shares her frustration with Dallas teams but this time the Dallas Mavericks are in the hot seat.

Sunday afternoon, Ohio State women's basketball was in Tennessee, facing the Belmont Bruins in the Buckeyes' first away trip of the season. The 40 minutes on the court ended with a Scarlet and Gray 67-63 win, but it required a late comeback against the mid-major.
Following the win, head coach Kevin McGuff, Cotie McMahon and Jaloni Cambridge spoke with the media.
McGuff talked about how even with a young team, he doesn't expect there to be outings like there was against Belmont, the strong play of McMahon and the Buckeyes facing adversity.
McMahon and Cambridge talked about their performances, with McMahon specifically sharing how she won't have nights off. Cambridge also talked about her final shot that won the Buckeyes the game.
