Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning

The Utah Utes dominated USC, 47-23 to roll to the 2022 Pac-12 conference championship.

More importantly for Ohio State, the lopsided defeat meant that Lincoln Riley and the Trojans will almost certainly not be a part of the four-team field for the College Football Playoff. For No. 5 Ohio State, that is extremely good news.

In this very, very extended live episode of the Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning podcast, Tony Gerdeman and Kevin Noon of BuckeyeHuddle.com join analytics expert Ty Shoemaker and host Tom Orr to break down all of the angles to the College Football Playoff picture.

Where do the Buckeyes stand now, and who would they be most likely to face in a semifinal?

Ohio State currently sits at No. 5 in the College Football Playoff rankings and will need some help if it wants to make it into the field of four on Sunday. Will they get it?

In this special bonus episode, Alex Markham of UteNation.com talks to Kevin Noon of BuckeyeHuddle.com about whether Utah can upset USC in the Pac-12 title game on Friday night.

Then Kevin talks to Derek Young of K-StateOnline.com about whether the Kansas State Wildcats can knock the TCU Horned Frogs out of the playoff picture in the Big 12 Championship Game on Saturday.

The Ohio State men's basketball team hit the road Wednesday night to take on Duke in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. And while the Buckeyes came up short in an 81-72 defeat, there were definitely some encouraging signs for Chris Holtmann's team.

Tony Gerdeman of BuckeyeHuddle.com joins host Tom Orr to discuss a few of their big takeaways from the game, and what it could mean for the Buckeyes as they get ready to tip off Big Ten play in a little over a week.

The Ohio State Buckeyes started out well, but got overwhelmed by a series of big plays from the Michigan offense in a 45-23 loss to the archrival Wolverines.

It was a crushing defeat for the Buckeyes, who thought they had corrected the issues they faced in Ann Arbor in 2021, only to suffer a similar defeat.

Kevin Noon of BuckeyeHuddle.com joins host Tom Orr to break down what went wrong:

- Why do Ryan Day's offenses always seem to fail in the same way in big games?
- Wasn't the defense supposed to be fixed? What happened?
- Can OSU still find its way into the College Football Playoff field?

The Game is today! Ohio State and Michigan face off Saturday inside Ohio Stadium, and BuckeyeHuddle has everything you need to know before kickoff.

Ross Fulton, Buckeye Huddle's Xs and Os guru joined a special live panel discussion along with Tony Gerdeman, Marc Givler, Kevin Noon, and Tom Orr of BuckeyeHuddle.com to answer some viewer questions and break down The Game from every possible angle.

Following a 42-27 loss in Ann Arbor in 2021, Ohio State players, coaches, and fans have been waiting a full year for another crack at Michigan. With The Game just now one day away, just how much is on the line for the Buckeyes on Saturday in the Horseshoe?

On this episode, you'll hear directly from Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and defensive coordinator Jim Knowles about that and much more.

- How has Blake Corum's injury changed the Buckeyes' approach to the game?
- What did Ryan Day think about Jim Harbaugh's "born on third base" comment last year?
- How much pressure is Day feeling heading into his third Michigan game?
- How is Knowles planning to handle the running threat from Michigan QB JJ McCarthy?

Ohio State's showdown with archrival Michigan will be a crucial one for the 2022 Buckeyes to reach their goals. It could also be a massive one for the future of the program in 2023, 2024, 2025, and beyond as well.

This weekend, Ohio State is hosting one of the biggest recruiting weekends in program history. Alex Gleitman of BuckeyeHuddle.com joins host Tom Orr to break down some of the biggest names to know.

- After Brock Glenn flipped to Florida State, is the Buckeyes' 2023 QB of the future going to be on campus this weekend?
- Without a running back currently committed, who are some names to know to fill the one - or maybe two - open RB spots in the 2023 class?
- Plus, some names to know for 2024 and 2025 who will be in the Horseshoe on Saturday.
