Bucks County Bytes introduces local musical artist Birksmith,  who I had the pleasure to meet a few years ago. My first introduction to Brandon, aka, Birksmith was this unique and compassionate soul who believed so wholeheartedly in his music as he writes from his heart and experience...heartbreak, trauma and so much more as his music comes to life through the experiences he has gone through. I met him on Halloween those few years back and we talked music, life, and compassion....and a hug to end it and I felt the life in him and the drive that goes into the music he produces!

I had Lindsay come on to BCB and talk about the family business as she is a fourth-generation Vandegrift running her appliance and service store in New Britain, PA. Only a short distance out of Doylestown, her grandfather and grandmother ran started the business in 1936.
I am happy to say that I've been friends with the Vandegrift's for a few years and knowing the family has been wonderful! They are the most fun and loving family and have hundreds of connections throughout Bucks County!
Their appliances range from coffee systems to cooktops, ranges, and grilles, refrigerators, ovens, and so much more! They service all the products that they sell to their customers and have been awarded excellence for many, many years!

Local towns such as Doylestown, New Hope, Carversville, and Perkasie and they are not stopping...until our country's small towns are lit up in Pink!

It's amazing the work that is accomplished by this team, how they have lit up the streets in Pink, the shops and businesses that contribute in so many ways! People are coming up with ideas by creating ways to fundraise and donate to this great non-profit organization! From their augmented reality of collecting ribbons and seeing the town and supporting businesses as it also helps Pine2Pink...from people like Mike Subs from Training for Warriors Doylestown with their Night of the Living Deadlift...people from everywhere helping breast cancer patients....listen in and learn what it takes to run a non-profit, the love, the tears, and the passion of giving and helping others...now if only Pink would hear this and visit Pine2Pink  :-)

Meet my friend Shannon and her daughter, Shauna. Friends for over 20 years. I've seen the worst of the worst. The lowest of rock bottom and trying all those years to help her. Guide her. Support her. Shauna was there during every step of the way. No one saw what was coming. How Shannon toughed it out. How she fought through the addiction. Through the rehab. And to come out Shining....a new life, a new world, and to talk about it. This is the first time that she could come forward with what happened and how she fought back to come out and be successful at her new business. A business that she pours her heart and soul into.
