  • Ketchup Prison: Drive-Thru Hell - Fast Pitch Ep 51 - Bucky's Basement Podcast

On this episode of Fast Pitch we had our good friend Ian from  Phantom Ring Props stop by the Basement to draw some words out of the legendary sack. And honestly listenership, these may have been the best group of words we have drawn...aside from Mom Wand.

This week you'll be treated to stories based in prisons, deep in the bayou of Louisiana...studies of what your own personal hell might be...a last ditch attempt to revive a once thriving burger chain, and an interpersonal drama about how a simple mishap involving ketchup destroyed two couples and an unborn child's future together.

And we also talk about how your TV is spying on you.

  • High Race Desserts - Fast Pitch Ep 50 Feat Jimmy Hatcha - Bucky's Basement

We are honored to have the supremely talented comedian Jimmy Hatcha in the basement this week! We talk the costs and benefits of running as a hobby, comedy, and general parenthood exhaustion.

But the magic is in the Fast Pitch title: High Class Desserts

And the directions we go in: A terrorist attack during a nudist retreat, a bigoted bakery that is not all what it seems, a scheme to break into Hollywood by any means necessary, and a pyschedelic marathon run made even more stressful.

Making it up as we go along. Only on Bucky's Basement

We talk about Jimmy recording a special on Oct 3 that was postponed, but stay tuned.

  • Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance - Feat The Old Guard - Casting Cage Ep 53

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome... anyways the guys from The Old Guard podcast agreed to watch ANOTHER Nic Cage Ghost Rider movie and come on to discuss.  We're talking budget, or lack there of.  We're talking special FX, or lack there of.  We're talking great acting...seriously some great acting...in other movies.  We're talking about daycare bills being so high David Goyer had to write this movie.

But seriously, big shout out to The Old Guard for taking the time to hang out, it was a blast.

  • Searching The Time - Fast Pitch Ep 49 Feat Jessi Lyann

Continuing the trend for this season, we have the very funny, very talented Comedian Jessi Lyann in the basement! And she brings the heat in this week's Fast Pitch!

The challenge? Pitch a move for the Title: Searching the Time

We're talking time-travel gameshow mockumentaries, high-tech with equally high-stakes cat-and-mouse thrillers, a social justice crusade through the ages, and an orgin story that is just fantastic. I mean it this time.

  • Trespass - Casting Cage - Bucky's Basement Podcast

Trespass, the 2011 (nearly direct to video) film had a lot going for it. Great casting: Nic Cage, Nic Kidman (2 Nic's!), & Ben Mendleson. It was directed by Joel Schumacher (The Lost Boys, Flatliners, some Batman movies). A $35 million dollar budget with little to be spent on special effects...

Sure to be a hit, yeah? Producers were probably shouting "Show us the money!" Studio likely already counted it in the bank. But there's a twist...

It falls way short. So short that Bucky has a mental breakdown about it. A home invasion movie where we're start to wonder if the real crime was someone laundering the production money for this film...

But we watched it for you, dear listeners. Because we love it. We. Love. Nic. Cage. Movies.

It's what we do. Only on Bucky's Basement.

We're baaaaackk! And we have something special for the listenership this season....Special Guests! Out the gate, we have the in-high-demand DJ BLKCIR: aka Nekos Barnes!

So what do Stephen Seagal's biological sons, a mysterious ride located at the local carnival, Casper the 40-something year old ghost rescuing a mysterious stranger, and some dumb IT guys playing video games in the basement of the Pentagon all have in common? This week's Fast Pitch, that's what.

  • Pot Tales & Area Stories - Fast Pitch Ep 47 - Bucky's Basement

Sheeeeeeeeiit! The OG three amigos are back in the basement doing what they do best: Drawing titles, pitching flicks, and having a blast.

No special guest this week, just back to basics for the boys with the Fast Pitch title: Pot Tales and Area Stories. Sounds right up their alley.

Added topic: Oldboy finally watched HBO's The Wire. Much to the surprise of Bucky and Juicebox. Of course, they have questions...

Time to re-up, get back out to your corners, and watch out for the heat. Only on Buc... Oh shit, Omar coming!

  • Seeking Justice (2011) - Casting Cage Ep 51 - Bucky's Basement Podcast

What starts as a case of "my wife got attacked and I am seeking justice" quickly turns into Nic Cage accidentally signing up for the world's most aggressive neighborhood watch. Honestly, reading the terms and conditions would have made sense. Seeking Justice is basically a two-hour lesson that if a mysterious stranger in a hospital offers to solve all your problems for free, the correct response is, "no thanks, I'm good."  Also, January Jones.

Always entertaining (well...sometimes), Always Fresh.  Only on Bucky's Basement.

We always wonder if Fast Pitch could be turned into a party game. So, we threw a mini-party with the ladies at the Toxic Waste of Time Podcast: Katie Booth & Ivy Hensley.

And boy howdy, did they knock it out of the park! We also played their opening episode segment: Icebreaker (which was a blast).

We have a lot of great episodes, but this one goes into the books as a top highlight. Added bonus, Bucky does a tango (?)

So, put on your dancing shoes, mix you a drink, and let your ears party down.
