It all happened so fast, but Rob Gronkowski is on the Bucs! We have an emergency podcast to go over how this all went down and what it means for Tampa Bay to have arguably the greatest tight end of all time.
The news picked up Tuesday afternoon with reports that Gronk wanted to come back and play for Brady and the Bucs, and within an hour, the Bucs completed a trade for him. Having Gronk means a great deal for the Bucs as he has a different personality than Tom Brady, but is also someone on the offensive side of the ball that knows what it's like to win numerous Super Bowls. Brady doesn't have any chemistry yet with his other receivers, and now he does with Gronk as a security blanket.
With the addition of Gronk, that means that O.J. Howard is likely on the go, so where could he end up getting traded and would the Bucs use him to move up on their own in the draft? And how does having Gronk change the Bucs' draft plans this weekend? The Bucs have a juggernaut of an offense now after this move to get Gronk. The season needs to get here soon. Hear our instant reaction to the trade in this new Pewter Nation Podcast.
