Buddhism is more than a religious concept!
Buddhism is essentially hailed to be a "way of life" which aims at helping people gain a deeper understanding of how things are to be tackled and dealt with. The word Buddhism finds its root in "budhi" which means to awaken.
It is believed that the origin of Buddhism dates back to nearly 2500 years ago when Siddhartha Gautama learned the ideals of enlightenment at a young age of 35.
In this book, we are going to talk about the different ideals of Buddhism and the key principles which you should implement for the sake of deriving the best set of benefits. This, in turn, will help you deal with the different adversities of life in an apt manner.
Buddhism is becoming hugely popular even in most western countries because it seems to have answers to most of the materialistic problems which the world is facing. So, all those who are looking to get familiar and acquainted with the different dynamics of Buddhism and embrace this new principle should make it a point to go through the different details we will be sharing in this book.
Buddhism believes in the ideals of peace and spiritual development of the inner soul. So, are you all set for this journey of the inner soul which involves awakening, enlightenment, peace, and tranquility?

I like that the author of this book only brings out ...
I like that the author of this book only brings out a little bit of this religion. Iâve searched all over the internet, and needless to say, that there are many (too many sometimes) sources on Buddhism. They are free, but I donât think gathering bits and pieces of information from here and there, managed to enlighten me on this subject. Hence why I preferred to get a kindle book.
I have absolutely 0% knowledge on Buddhism but 100% interest in curiosity in it. This book is very short and brief, but this is a better starter for me to understand this religion.
The book starts off with the story of âwho is the Buddha?â He was a Shakyan prince, who later left all his luxuries and founded Buddhism. Iâve read a much more detailed (over-detailed) script with pali words here and there, that still has my head in jumbles. I prefer this short explanation. Then there is the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path.
A good read
This was a very easy read. For someone who came into the book knowing very little about the religion, I learned the basics from this book in an easy to understand format.
I am not actually a Buddhist myself, but people of any religious belief or none at all can take something useful about of this book, and the teachings of Buddha. He was certainly an enlightened man, and by applying the things that he taught you can lead a more fulfilling existence.
I am going to recommend this book to other people that I know, particularly those who can benefit from applying the teachings of peace and tranquility to their own lives.
good for the price.
This book was inexpensive and auto-downloaded, which is great. It's quite short, which is appropriate to the price and concept of being "for beginners." I liked the basics that were included, the three jewels, eight-fold path, and descriptions, etc, but the copy editing was pretty crappy. :) Great content but someone should have really proofread this before it was published. That being said, I'm still glad I read it.
