We kicked off a three-episode series chatting about qualities that effective leaders practice. Some do it intentionally and some do it because it is just simply who they are. The interesting thing is that when I ask people to tell me about their favorite leader or about great leadership qualities, they never use these three words. But, everything they tell me falls under one of these three categories.
This month we continue our conversation about measure probabilities. Last month we talked about what can damage your leadership, and this month we turn the attention to what can build your leadership. We are going to chat about “measurable probabilities” as it relates to your leadership. Do you want to grow your influence?
There are certain things that we do in our leadership that can bring certain results. In other words, if you do abc, then xyz is probably going to happen. Let’s resolve them!
So many leaders have commented on how tough is has been leading people in the workplace the last two years. Truth is, it has probably been tough all along, but the last two years have intensified everything. This is largely because of the commitment issue we are experiencing. So, how do we lead when others seem to be so uncommitted? How do we inspire commitment? What keeps people [and us] from being committed?

I have a new definition of leadership, and I am anxious to share it in this episode. We will look hard at what effective/smart leaders to do create the outcome they want. Turns out, it is quite simple...though not easy!
