Loot Crates: Gambling or No?
“Many video game companies in recent years have introduced mechanics which are essentially gambling of which are targeted at children and vulnerable adults. While not currently considers gambling by law they do copy many traits to make them as addictive and can lead to real money being lost/earned.”

With Destiny 2 pretty much out of content till the 1st DLC drops in December, what could you play to take your mind off it?
Star Wars Battlefront 2
A sequel to Battlefront, Star Wars Battlefront 2 has a rich story campaign that takes you through the 30 years between episode 6 and 7 which has you following the emperor’s final orders to rid the galaxy of the rebellion and obtain total control. Coupled with an in-depth multiplayer system that features both ground and space battles, multiple modes and tons of weapons and gear to collect, this will keep you going until that DLC drops (and even long after it drops).
Call of Duty: World War 2
Going back to its roots, COD: WW2 will take gamers back to an already exhausted time period to bring a gritty, yet compelling story campaign. But this game is more for those going through Iron Banner withdrawal (even though it really sucked) containing lots of historical weapons, tons of collectibles and a prestige system that will have your content as you get your PvP fix.
Middle Earth: Shadows of War
A direct sequel to Shadows of Mordor, Shadows of War continues the struggle to rid the world of Sauron as you progress another great story campaign the features the Nemesis System, which tracks and changes the game world as you choose to either kill or save important enemies with lasting effects. With no multiplayer mode to speak of, Shadows of War is the perfect game to quench the thirst of a compelling story that D2 is sorely lacking.
Wolfenstein: The New Colossus
Another direct sequel game, The New Colossus follows after The New Order where Germany won WW2 and took over the U.S. Based in the 60’s, The New Colossus showcases the studio’s imagination of impressive weapons and machines as everyone’s favorite hero B.J. Blazkowicz teams up with the rebellion to take down the Nazis, once and for all. No multiplayer to speak of, Wolfenstein: The New Colossus features an all original story that is sure to captivate anyone looks for someone new.
Assassin’s Creed: Origins
For those looking for a little bit more of a story, look no further than the new Assassin’s Creed Origins. Set back to ancient Egypt, Origins tells the story of how the Assassin’s and Templars began and their centuries-long feud. Although a little concerned about the time period, AC: Origins, looks to continue the complicated yet satisfying story that most people come to expect.
