In this message Elder Kevin Lofton looks at the different aspects and types of fear from a biblical perspective.

In the Old Testament worship was offering physical sacrifices to God. In the New Testament we are still told to offer sacrifices, but of a different nature.

Sin separates us from the Lord in that by knowing we are sinners we keep away from following the Lord. The gospel declares Christ put away our sins and gives us confidence to approach Him.

The word of God gives us instructions for avoiding captivity. Just like the Israelites experienced captivity to another nation, we can become captives of this world if we are not careful.

As the Lord’s people we are told to sing praises unto God. The greatest thing we can do while here on the earth is gather together singing praises unto our God. Is He not worthy of our praise?
