In Acts 15 is arguably the first debate between salvation. Is it by grace or grace plus works? Peter declares it is solely through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sadly there are still those attempting to add or limit the grace of Christ and placing heavy yokes upon their shoulders.

Throughout the Old Testament there were various covenants given by God and in each there are glimpses into the eternal covenant, and by the new covenant given to us by Christ we are able to see it more clearly

Context matters when studying scripture and when we misapply scripture we are doing a great injustice to that scripture. May we always seek God's wisdom and understanding in our studies.

The church's primary love is to be towards our beloved Jesus Christ, and when we find ourselves forsaking our first love let us look to Christ for the remedy.

Truth and love are vitally tied to each other in scriptures so that the one without the other would be an incomplete gospel.

Man cannot bring peace to God nor does God look to man to bring it, so God must make peace for himself and to himself which is done by Christ.
