The Brandon Peters Show

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1992) with Jennifer Wreyford

Listen Later

Jennifer Wreyford and I met in a former place of employment and upon first interaction with her, I was immediately captivated and taken with her skill as a speaker, a leader and someone who relatively has a great sense of communication with people. Its no surprise that she’s found a calling in an industry very suit for that and is paving a way for herself. In addition to being certified as a life coach/healer, Jennifer has also started a wonderful podcast (“Courage To Rise”) and is now a published author.

Aside from all the professional stuff, she’s also one of the most infectiously fun and enjoyable people to be around. I had no fear stepping outside my comfort zone of entertainment writers and podcasters bringing her onto the show. You’re going to love her radiancy and perspective as she brings a real sense of human understanding, context and depth to our discussion.

She’s brought 1992’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer to the show to discuss. Despite the TV series being one of my favorite shows of all time, I still have always enjoyed the film. We have a fruitful discourse about the film but ultimately we have a very thoughtful discussion regarding Joss Whedon and his past behavior that has come into the spotlight and how we are to react and handle his art going forward. And I’d love to hear your thoughts, input and reaction to something like that as well.

Overall, this is a fabulous episode of the program. Yeah, I know…aren’t ALL of them, Brandon? Sure, but its a sign that I’m very pleased with how this young show is turning out and doing so with such consistency.
