Todd and guest, Chris Kobz, explore these ideas of culture and how to build an unbeatable one.

As the Branch Manager for Summit Funding Chico, Chris Kobz leads an office of 42 employees. From the beginning, Chris set out to create a work-family atmosphere. His goal was to make it a place that employees wanted to return to each Monday morning. Chris has built a culture around making people happy.

Chris has been in the banking and mortgage industry for most of his professional career. He gained experience at companies such as Wells Fargo, Countrywide, and Land Home Financial, before his final move to Summit Funding in 2011.

Chris was born and raised in Southern California. He attended California State University Chico, where he earned his degree in Communication & Design. There he met his beautiful wife Megan and together they have 3 beautiful children Landon, Lauren, and Lily. As a family, they love to travel. Their favorite destination is  the Greek Isles. Chris is an avid golfer, enjoys snow and water skiing, and watching his children play sports.
