As entrepreneurs, we talk a lot about productivity, strategy, and building our businesses, but one of the most important factors that determines our ability to show up as our best selves is the quality of our sleep. The truth is, if we don’t protect our bedtime and create healthy evening habits, we set ourselves up for exhaustion, brain fog, frustration, and slow performance. I’ve lived through it myself in my old version staying up late for no good reason, surrounding myself with people who had similar unhealthy habits, scrolling endlessly on my phone, watching movies into the night, or staying out late with friends. Back then, I didn’t understand the cost of these choices, but over time they drained my energy, impacted my focus, slowed my work, and even made me more negative and frustrated about my life.
Sleep is not a luxury; it’s a foundation for our health, energy, and performance as entrepreneurs. When you protect your bedtime, you protect your brain, your body, and your business. Poor sleep creates a ripple effect your cravings shift to junk food, your ability to focus drops, your productivity slows, and you carry that fatigue into every task, project, and meeting.
