Bees pollinate our fields, orchards and gardens, bringing sweetness to our lives. After all, bees – and other pollinators - are responsible for 1 in 3 bites of food we take. However, the bee population is in crisis with steady decline due to loss of their habitat, pesticide use, diseases, parasites and other environmental factors. The National Wildlife Federation’s partnership with the Beesponsible campaign is a movement that empowers individuals everywhere to help solve the problem and celebrates the deep connection we share with bees.
