After Spurs vs Manchester United on Sunday I had a good debate with my friends, my brother and my Dad on the state of Man United and what needs done for the manager to succeed.

I feel that the job Ruben Amorim has is the job of reviving a club. It's more than just putting your formation and philosophy on the first team. It's rebuilding and shifting the mindset of a massive club.

After this I started looking into Sir Alex Ferguson again alongside what Mikel Arteta has done at Arsenal and what Jurgen Klopp did at Liverpool.I found between them and also Arsene Wenger, there seemed to be a pattern of a spike in points within the second season which usually becomes the catalyst moment for success.

All of these managers I mentioned have one thing in common- Longevity at the club and the job they start doing. They get given the time.

It's about more than a formation. It's the foundations.
